Decorative Poly Hose Reel Review

I have purchased four of these hose reels and three have broken within the first few days.Specifically the autowind feature stops functioning.Unfortunately, this feature is necessary to wind up hoses as you can't actually guide the hose manually without turning the unit upside down or manually guiding the hose from the bottom as you wind it.There is a switch to engage and disengage autowind, but the mechanism itself breaks after even light use.

Even when the reel is working properly, the winding mechanism is difficult to wind, feels flimsy (it has a small plastic handle) and makes an awful squeeking noise.I have tried to lubricate it with grease and WD-40, again to no avail.I contacted the manufacturer after the first one broke and they promptly sent me a new one.After the next two broke just days later, I decided to give up on this product.
