I thought spending [...] on a sprinkler would give me something that would last me more than one season and make my life a bit easier, I was wrong. i'll just give you the pros and con rather than a drawn out explanationPros:It has good range, its quiet, I liked the mist setting, it had great range and coverage, if I could ever get the thing going and standing up
Cons: the spikes on the tripod are plastic, they won't dig into the ground at all, they bend and I have to assume would break fairly easily with regular use, the thing falls over just about every two seconds.
Pretty much the whole thing is plastic actually, it feels really chinsy, except the tripod is some kind of cheap metal(aluminum I suppose),
The sprinkler head leaks from all over the place, I tightened it to the max and it still leaked from where the hose plugged in to the tripod, plus for some reason it was literally pouring water from the middle of the head somewhere I couldn't see. I can only assume mine was damaged during transit, and that's why it didn't work properly, but for an outdoor tool you would think they would make it out of more durable materials.
Anyway after reading the great bio on the owner of the company I thought this was going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread, guess what? I was wrong, and I won't be buying any of their products again...
