The barrel around which the hose is coiled has a diameter only a few inches wide. That might be okay if you were coiling rope, but a hose does not easily wind so tightly. When winding, this places a great deal of strain on the hose and on the crank, which is made entirely out of snapped-together plastic parts. It breaks apart with every other use, and snapping it back together is not straightforward.The connectors for both the inlet and outlet hoses are plastic, and do not seal tightly, causing leakage. The included washers were nearly useless; I replaced them immediately, which helped somewhat. The angles of the connectors are quite sharp. This causes the hoses to pinch, restricting water flow and leading to cracking at those points.
The wheels provide only about a half inch of clearance beneath the bottom of the cart. So unless you are rolling it on a perfectly flat surface, you end up dragging it, pulling up clumps of grass as you go. It is really inexcusable that such a product could ever be released.
