I have a commercial grade hi-pressure electric pressure washer that I use in my business and a strong, durable and crush-proof 3/4" diameter hose is essential for good continuous water flow to the pump. 5/8" simply won't permit enough flow under constant use and use of a 1/2" would quickly damage the pump.The 25-foot length is ideal for use out here in Arizona because most homes have several garden hose bibs strategically located around the property as well as electric outlets.
While there are countless high quality 50-foot and 75-foot 3/4" hoses available in the big box stores and home centers, the shorter length of this one means less weight, easier set-up and knockdown, easier coiling up and neater storage on the washer cart.
It's a well-made garden hose that does not kink, collapse or become unruly as some quality hoses often do. It stands up to the intense heat and sunlight even while resting on blistering hot concrete.
The ends are attached securely, finished nicely and I have not experienced any leakage or drip problems at the bib end regardless of how many times I've attached and removed the hose on the job.
Amazon's price is so low that if you bought two (2) of these and attached them together to make up one 50-foot hose, they'd still cost you less than one 50-foot 3/4" quality hose in the store. Plus, you'd have the versatility and convenience of shorter hoses when you need them.
Since the 25-foot length is not available in any of the stores out here, I'm making sure I don't get caught short by ordering a second to keep as a spare.
