I have been using 6 of these sprinkler heads daily since September 2009 and they have worked very well.We use them for irrigation for our garden.We remove the head from the spiked zinc base and screwed them into a PVC fitting on a run of 1-1/2" PVC pipe and one is positioned at each 40' interval.This system is on a auto timer and it runs one hour every day of the week.The only complaint we have is the stops that trigger the sprinkler to reverse at the end of its preset cycle all seem not to be secure enough and about once a week we need to readjust the sprinkle pattern, as they open up too wide.This is the only reason I did not give it a 5 star.The sprinkler operation itself is very good and the control for setting the distance is well designed and locks into place.
I have 3 spares on-hand just in case, but as it looks now, we will not have to use them for some time to come.
