Melnor 4125SH Brass Sweeper Nozzle Review

I don't suppose there is much you could do with a hunk of brass to mess things up. This nozzle is well built, has a good finish and is very useful when you need a strong, steady stream to wash down trailers, hose off awalk or whatever. I would suggest that you also get a hose shutoff like theMelnor 9001 Brass Shut-off so you don't need to run back to the faucet asyou are working.

Dramm Rain Watering Wand Touch-N-Flow Sunrise 16" Length Review

Brand new and it leaks at the hose joint.The threads are some cheap pot metal.If you try to tighten enough to stop the leak it will strip.Even worse the thread metal is not compatible with brass and it is already doing a redox reaction that is eroding the joint.Looks good but is otherwise worthless.

This particular product was just as advertised except for the fact that one of the watering wands (I ordered 2) was missing the metal hook that holds the handle open.This was disappointing due to the fact that I had ordered this model because I wanted to be able to "lock" the handle and allow for constant water flow.Other than that annoying inconvenience, I am happy with the functional watering wand! Gilmour Select-A-Spray Metal Nozzle #584 Review

Attracted to its nice design and the Gilmour name, plus the "lifetime leakproof seal", I purchased this hose nozzle. I had tried different brands and models before and all of them became useless after a few months, due to leaks and/or a failing trigger spring. The Gilmour worked like a charm for a year and then, like the others and for the same problems, became useless. Hoping I had purchased a defective unit - and still believing in the reliability of the "lifetime leakproof seal" - I got two more. All of them had the same ill fate after about a year. Very deceptive!

Nelson High Temperature and High-Pressure Rated Rear Trigger Industrial Spray Nozzle #50501 Review

I was expecting a little better quality on the actual water jet. It comes out in a messy way, not accurate, no matter which position the nozzle is turned. It works, no secrets, and also no engineering.

Dramm Kaleidoscope Premium Rain Watering Wand 30-Inch Length with Touch-N-Flow Valve Review

I purchased this item Spring 2008 and used it daily all season long with no problem. This afternoon I attached it to the hose for the first time this season, turned on the water, and the wand split open a 1" vertical gash along the shaft- rendering it completely useless.I'm really disappointed because this watering wand was a great tool when it worked.

I have e-mailed Dramm directly, as this product is advertised as having a lifetime waranty--I'll update further when/if the company replies to my complaint.

Ray Padula RP-SREN Series R Advanced Functionality Extend-A-Spray Water Wand Review

I was very excited about getting this spray wand because it had the features I wanted and it looked well made.Since I use a watering wand a lot I wanted a good one and was willing to pay for it.I got the product quickly and immediately got it hooked to my hose.I was really pleased with how light weight it was and the thumb water controller was great.I was off and running with my new wand but then the trouble began.I had been using it for about a month I guess when it started leaking around the head joint and worse yet the thumb control quit working correctly.I would pull the thumb lever down to shut off the water but water kept on coming!Needless to say I was very disappointed and it's now off my hose and in the garage for my handy husband to take a look at when he has time and my old stand by water wand is back to work.I don't have much hope on getting it to work right but it's worth trying to fix it.

Melnor T402 Deluxe Fireman's Hose Nozzle Review

This is a very nice well crafted nozzle in all respects except one, it seems to limit the flow somewhat from a typical nozzle, and doesn't give the same jet range when set to the thin narrow pattern. I purchased this and a Ray Padula version at the same time, and that one has a superior spray and flow in my view. Otherwise this is great.

Dramm ColorStorm Premium Pistol Spray Gun with Insulated Grip Review

I was hoping I had found a horticulturist-grade spray gun, but this Dramm isn't it, in my opinion.I bought two about a year ago and this is what I've found.First, it seems on the small side, but it's reasonably comfortable in the hand.It *looks* well-made, but it has some problems that call that into question.The nozzle tends to stick open if the plunger shaft isn't oiled frequently.I'm unable to obtain a strong, concentrated stream out of the nozzle.Perhaps most concerning, the pistol lever pivots on a riveted shaft, which has begun to rust--and that's with the spray guns spending the winter indoors.It seems to me that something that's expected to be wet when used as intended shouldn't be made out of components that rust so easily.

EPDM Rubber Garden / Contractor's Water Hose, 5/8" x 100' Review

The fitting leaked on the reinforced end, on the hose side. We purchased this hose for our business since common garden hoses do not survive the
heavy use. A water pressure of around 150psi and a temperature 160F is what
we expose it to. This product looked great in the description and prior to installation. I cannot comment on the performance as ours was defective and could not be used. It could be that such defects are very rare, or it could be that it is a design or manufacturing flaw that may or may not appear immediately.
If any others have experience with this hose, please comment.

PRI Industries that sold us the defective hose offered to have it picked up so they can send it to the manufacturer for warranty inspection.
Unfortunately we cannot wait for this procedure as it is likely to take about a month or so. We ordered another hose from Grainger for about $16.00 more, and to make up for lost time we will pick it up ourselves.
We will attempt to obtain a credit since a replacement will result in our purchasing two hoses when we only need one.

Ray Padula RP-CRSS-3 36-Inch Comfi-Rain Water Wand Review

This item arrived in a large box with no packing material. It was plastic and aluminum, cracked in two places and leaked so I returned it. No problems with the return. My examination of this item suggested that a replacement would likely break easily as well, either upon shipping or in the yard - not what you want in a garden tool. I got a refund on the item and bought a similar but better built water wand at Ace for about the same price.
